Yes, the summer is nearly half over! :( And that means time to get the kids geared up for school. At many of the large box stores, the school supplies are on sale.
Now is the time to stock up.
I know that it gets very expensive getting the kids ready for school, but if you have the funds stock up on the supplies while they are 1/2 to 1/4 of their normal price.
Basic loose leaf paper and pencils are needed by students throughout the year.
Tips:
Most middle school and high school students will need a couple of 1 to 1 1/2 inch binders. Don't forget the dividers!
Composition notebooks are making a comeback for notes. I even find them very useful around the house, and if I can get them for 25-50 cents instead of a dollar or more, I'm very happy.
Mechanical pencils are cool, but some teachers find them a nightmare, because the kids are always running out of lead!! So stick to the good old wood and "lead".
Hand Sanitizer can be found at the $ stores.
Glue sticks are much cheaper during the beginning of school sales than at any other time.
If you get spiral notebooks, make sure they are the tear-along the line style. the spiral tabs make a huge mess!!
